Leadership in an Association of Professional Remodelers

Tom Dwyer is a Past President and Board Member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Atlanta Chapter.

Tom has always been an active member of the Atlanta chapter. He believes in the organization’s goals and code of ethics.

Tom is a member of NARI because the organization offers: continuous training in the best practices in remodeling, safety instruction, responsible business practices and guidelines for operations. The organization also promotes an exchange of ideas and practices among its members.

Trade associations are designed to establish standards for the industry. Specific standards established for the home remodeling industry would include:

• Operational Safety Guidelines and Systems
• Compliance with Insurance & Government Regulations
• Reference Procedures
• Blueprint Reading and Estimating Skills

NARI also provides for certifications examinations and ongoing training in the latest materials and practices in the remodeling industry.
