An attic conversion is another way to gain more living space in an existing home. This is an especially good solution for intown homes on lots that have no room to expand with a traditional ground level room addition. Homes with a steep roof slope are better candidates for an attic conversion. However, the whole roof structure can be removed and a complete second story can be added.
